Reagan Day Dinner 2010

Last month, I was asked to commission a work for the Hardin County Republican Party's 2010 Ronald Reagan Day Dinner. The event was held at the Pickwick Landing State Park Inn, and over 300 people attended, with special appearances by Mayor Bill Haslam, the Republican candidate for Governor, and Ron Ramsey, Lt. Governor of the state of Tennessee. Below is a picture of Mayor Haslam speaking in front of the painting, which was a hand-stretched acrylic on canvas measuring 11' 4" wide by 5' 8 " tall. It is my largest work to date, and it was auctioned off at the end of the night. Thanks to all of the generous bidders. The painting was featured in an article on Nashville Examiner (to read click here), and you can see more pictures of the event by clicking here.
